About me

I'll probably add more to this later. My name is Eric but my frequent internet username is TacoCraft08, which is also the namesake for this website, and I'm a high school student from Canada. I love music, art, science, all that jazz, I play games, and I make stuff. The instruments I'm most acquainted with are piano, bari sax, and ukulele. I love playing piano so much like it's actually the best thing ever. Occasionally I post videos of me playing piano or performing with friends on YouTube so check that out if you're interested.

I'll write about some of my interests on this site so stay tuned for that!

Games I Recommend

I like playing video games and I like watching people play them too. Here's a list of games (in alphabetical order) that I really like and think you should check out if you haven't already. The ones that I've actually played rather than just watched are green. I will try to write about all of them eventually.

  • Balatro

  • Celeste

  • Death's Door

  • Geometry Dash

  • For those who don't know what Geometry Dash is, it's the rhythm game where the cube jumps over the spikes, but is has quite a bit of history. I have spent a lot of time playing this game, partly due to the fact that I play it on mobile. This game is extremely community-driven and literally would be nothing without it's playerbase. People can create their own custom levels in this game, and the level editor is very advanced so people have made insane stuff over the years. It's also an absolute steal of a deal; it costs hardly anything and gives access to infinite levels, as people are always making new custom levels. The link to view my Geometry Dash account at the bottom of this page is thanks to the website GDBrowser by GDColon. He's a really cool guy and you can check out his website here.

  • Hollow Knight

  • Minecraft

  • Everyone's heard of Minecraft. This is a game I started playing probably over a decade ago and have poured countless hours into. I'd consider it to be my favourite game of all time and I'm sure a lot of people would say the same. It has a huge history, is still getting free updates (though I've been keeping up less recently), and there's just so much you can do. I have played in so many survival and creative worlds with so many different people, collected achievements, played in servers, made stuff with command blocks, and so much more; you really get your money's worth with this game. The primary way I've played Minecraft is on PlayStation 4 which became Bedrock Edition years ago, though sometimes I still check out the Legacy Console Edition to play the old minigames and reminisce. I've also probably spent more time watching Minecraft YouTube videos than videos of any other game, but who hasn't?

  • Omori

  • Slay the Princess

  • Without spoiling too much, Slay the Princess is a really good branching narrative visual novel and is a horror game, but also a love story. The game has beautiful art and immaculate writing. It's descriptive in a really good way, it's funny, it's scary, and it's voiced too. This game has a lot to offer and presents its horror in many interesting ways. I'm trying to be as ambiguous as I can because it's best to go into this game blind. Basically I think this is a really cool game and I've never even played it.

  • The Coffin of Andy and Leyley

  • Undertale
